Overview

Leonie is a Legal Associate with years of experience in Land Tenure and Ownership, Registration of Interests in Land and Perfection of Charges over Landed Property. She is well known for her expertise in Land Administration and Management which is invaluable in her work with both corporate and individual clients. As a Lawyer and a Certified Property Valuer, Leonie’s work in Real Estate transactions is based on a deep understanding and a wholistic perspective of all aspects of the industry. With 6 years of valuation experience, Leonie has created a niche by combining Property Valuation know-how with Land Law to provide value-added legal advice which is cognisant of the economics of Real Estate.

 

She previously worked as the Head of Estate and Development at Comet Properties Ltd, applying her expertise in land management to advancing excellent management of the company’s many land banks.

 

Since joining the Firm, Leonie’s scope of expertise has widened to include Renewable Energy, Aviation, Adoption and International Trade. She has conducted due diligence exercises on behalf of clients in the Aviation Industry and worked on Corporate restructuring transactions necessary for compliance with Ghanaian law.

 

She advises an eclectic mix of clients and specialises in astutely assessing complicated situations to provide curated solutions. She is also instructed on the Firm’s Arbitration and Litigation matters.
