Overview

Maame Barnie is an astute Lawyer who joined the Firm with in depth knowledge and expertise in practice areas including Debt Recovery; Industrial Relations and Employment Law; Banking Regulation; Matrimonial Causes; Probate and Administration of Estates; and Immigration Compliance.

 

Maame has built a wealth of experience from working with an array of leading law firms including Ghartey and Ghartey Law Chambers, Accra; Olswang LLP Holborn, Central London; and Minkah Premo & Co. Accra.

 

Since joining the B&P Team, Maame has expanded her horizon in Corporate and Commercial Transactions, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Regulatory Compliance and Insolvency.

 

She has provided advisory services to a myriad of top-notch clients on a range of employment matters as well as regulatory compliance and very proficient in drafting and reviewing associated agreements. Maame brings on board valuable experience with her skilled representation of clients in challenging disputes across the Firm’s practice areas. She has advised and represented the Firm’s key clients in complex negotiations.

 

Maame formed part of the core team of the Firm to produce major publications, one of which is the Oxford Business Group’s Report: Ghana 2022 – Legal Chapter, which focused on fundamental laws and policies in Ghana that are key to investors.
