Overview

Abisola Ogunbadejo is a Corporate and Transaction Advisory Lawyer with extensive experience in advising international and indigenous clients on domestic and cross-border transactions across various sectors such as Renewable Energy, Construction & Infrastructure, Project Finance, Corporate Restructuring, Aviation, Technology, Intellectual Property and Telecommunications. With a wealth of experience from Nigeria, cross border transactions involving Ghana and other jurisdictions, she is highly skilled at drafting and reviewing contracts, preparing case strategies, advising clients on regulatory compliance, complex and technical contracts, and alternative dispute resolution mechanism.

 

Abisola has also advised on big ticket transactions involving foreign and local investors in a wide array of matters including debt recovery, equity financing, joint venture transactions, public private partnerships, licensing requirements, sales and acquisition, local content and local participation requirements, cybersecurity and data protection.

 

With Cogent experience in corporate transaction and commercial litigation, Abisola is not only able to identify her clients concerns, she is also a critical thinker who creates practical and alternative solutions to address clients’ needs. 

 

She is a student of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) having completed modules in respect of Corporate Secretaryship, Corporate Governance and Corporate Administration. An Associate of the Chartered Institute of Customer Relationship Management, (ACIRM) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, (ACIArb).
