Ghana’s power crisis has persisted in 2015, as the Government scrambles for ways to resolve the shortage in the short-to-medium and long term. Efforts have included a power purchase agreement between the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) and Turkey-based Karpowership Company Limited, who are to supply two 225MW floating power stations expected for delivery in September 2015.
